Welcome, another assignment has taken off...

For this assignment I have been tasked to produce a body of images that have a continual narrative that illustrates an editorial feature on a subject of my choice. 

The images should be of high enough quality that the commissioning editor/picture editor would not hesitate to place them within their publication. 

I was a little confused and worried as to where I'm going to go with this brief at first but now I have a better understanding of it, I think the idea I have will work brilliantly. 

Being a proud Mancunian, I think it's only right that I use this chance to document one of Manchester's finest areas, the Northern Quarter! I love spending time around the Northern Quarter and it's one of my favourite areas to go when shooting urban images. 

I'm looking forward to researching more about the area, finding out information I don't already know about the place and therefor educating myself on a subject I already have a great love of! Winner, winner, chicken dinner! 

I know this area has been covered many times before but I think that'll add to the challenge, I'll have to make this series my own to have any chance of it being commissioned(if it were in the real world).
